South Somerset Visitor Information Centre & Gift Shop, Cartgate Picnic Site

Helping you make the most of your stay

With so much choice of where to stay, what to do and where to visit, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you plan a perfect day or relaxing holiday. 

Our award winning visitor information centre and gift shop at Cartgate Picnic Site offers a fantastic range of Somerset brochures and leaflets as well as UK wide destination guides, books and OS maps.  We proudly support more than 20 local Somerset and South West makers, businesses and producers, so you might just find a special keepsake to make your holiday last that little longer. 

The South Somerset Visitor Information Centre also sells RADAR keys for access to disabled toilets nationwide. We are able to copy leaflets in larger print, an induction hearing loop is available and there is level access.
